First, let's discuss the hose, an important ingredient in any plumbing system. In Russell's case four different types of hose are utilized.

The most commonly used Russell hose in fluid transfer is the Pro Flex™ hose series. This hose is designed to work with the Russell Full Flow™ style of hose ends. It uses a unique CPE inner liner and a braided stainless steel exterior covering. It is available in size 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16. More on what these size numbers mean later. |

| This is a high end automotive grade hose that is made in the U.S.A. and meets rigid standards of quality. This hose is, in fact, a far better grade of hose than what is normally required for any performance automotive application including all out racing use. |  |
The second hose offered by Russell is the PC-90™. This is a superior aerospace grade hose and is available in sizes 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16.
The third hose offered is the Russell Powerflex™ Hose which is commonly used for brake lines and power steering lines or other hydraulic applications where the pressure of the fluid in the line is high. Powerflex utilizes a TeflonÆ inner liner with a braided stainless steel outer covering. This hose is available in size 3,4,6 and 8.

Our newest hose is Russell's Twist-Lok Hose Series. Engineered for the optimum in performance in low pressure applications, it is rated up to 250psi, making it ideal for fuel lines and oil lines. Twist-Lok Hose is available in size 4,6, 8 and 10. And it utilizes an extruded CPE inner liner with a high quality elastomer rubber cover. It is compatible with petroleum and alcohol based fuels and lubricants.
