Performance Hose Ends

The second major component group in fluid transfer technology is the hose end. Hose ends are used to attach the hose to the adapter and provide a positive seal at the hose and the adapter. These hose ends can be either the reusable type that can be installed on the hose with no special tools or equipment, or the crimp-on style that is used on Russell's Cycleflex brakelines, Pro System oil line kits, and our crossover fuel lines. The reusable hose ends are particularly useful when making brakeline, fuel lines or oil lines for custom applications where Russell does not offer a pre-made kit. These hose ends are either banjo fittings using banjo bolts, or are female hose ends that are threaded onto adapter fittings which allow you to connect the Russell hose assemblies to almost any component on the bike. Russell's reusable oil and fuel line Full Flow hose ends are finished in our unique Endura finish, which simulates the appearance of stainless steel on a lightweight aluminum fitting. Endura Full Flow hose ends must be used with our Proflex hose. Our Pro System I and II Brakeline Series reusable hose ends are chrome plated steel fittings that help dress up any bike, and must be used with the corresponding Pro System I and Pro System II hose.
